I wish to express my gratitude for some of the things that Christian Science has done for me in raising a family of five children.

When our eldest boy was two years old he had a fall, which injured one of his legs and caused it to stop growing. When he started to school he was six years old, and the leg was almost three inches shorter than the normal leg. This caused him to lose his balance. Thus he was deprived of playing with the other children. A physician was consulted, and after treatments he said the boy would have to be taken from school and the leg put into a cast. About this time, having seen some of my relatives healed through Christian Science and being told by them that Christian Science could heal our son, I decided to try it. After five treatments the leg was elongated, the boy was normal, and he went back to school. That was twelve years ago, and since then he has been active in school athletics and normal in every way.

I also with to relate my experience in painless childbirth. Four children were born under medical care and all the laws pertaining thereto were experienced, so it was a great joy to me that Christian Science could deliver me from these laws. At this time I was healed of uremic poisoning. A month before my child was born I had measles, because of which I almost gave premature birth to the child, but this condition was overcome in three days, and the child was free of measles when born.
