These words we said—in distress we said them,
Desperately said them:
"Thy will be done."

"Thy will be done."
These words we say—we have learned to love them,
Thankfully to say them:
"Thy will be done."

"Thy will be done!"
These words we say—joyfully we say them,
Since now we understand that
Thy will is good.
