Finding Satisfaction

[Written Especially for Young People]

Many human theories and isms have arisen to attract attention and gain followers since the humble Nazarene, Jesus the Christ, gave to a needy world the simple doctrine of Christian love. And love alone has withstood the test of time.

There appear today many material attractions, and also suggestions of discord, which the young student of Christian Science may be tempted to accept; for instance, fear of the future or of lack of ability, self-importance, self-pity, selfishness, and pride. In reality, there is but one attraction, that of God, good. The young student must be alert to resist illegitimate claims upon his time and attention, and to follow the true. "Admitting," as our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 392), "only such conclusions as you wish realized in bodily results, you will control yourself harmoniously."

This guarding of our mental door, that the right conclusions may be realized, is imperative. We must meet the suggestions of mortal mind with positive affirmation of the truth, for thus only can we progress.
