Morning
This
is the day the Lord hath made,
Rejoice, be glad!
This day I cannot be dismayed,
Nor weak, nor sad.
The morning meal of spiritual food
Before me laid,
I eat and drink with gratitude,
Then unafraid,
Assuming duties joyously,
I humbly pray:
Dear Father, please reveal to me
Thy will today.
Oh, may I greet each perfect day
With joyful heart,
And willingly and gladly say,
I do my part.
