I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science...
I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science, and what it has done for us during the past three years. I felt when I first began the study of Christian Science that I was handicapped through lack of education, but as I continued to read I gained a clearer understanding of God and His creation, for which I am very grateful.
We have been wonderfully blessed through the years by applying the truth to our problems as we are taught to do, and sometimes with the added help of a practitioner.
I should like to tell of a healing of what medical science called bursitis. This condition appeared in my left knee, and soon it was an unusual size. We were many miles away from home, but I was able to drive home safely. On entering the house I became very ill with chills and fever. I worked in Science the best I knew how for a few days, but the swelling did not disappear. Then my wife called a practitioner for help. Later I got out of bed and went to the practitioner's office. The quiet assurance of God's allness reflected by the practitioner quieted my fear. I returned to my work, and in a very short time found my leg normal in size. Our little son had a rash break out on his cheek, which he continually scratched. This was quickly and permanently healed.
