Four years ago I first heard of Christian Science. In the very first conversation with a Scientist I was conscious that this Science was something quite other than I had known before, something to set store by. I became much interested, and during the years I have studied it and attended the Sunday services and Wednesday meetings, I have been gaining a better understanding of the Bible. Many passages which previously seemed incomprehensible have become clearer.

I am deeply grateful for the sense of security which Christian Science gives us, by teaching us how we can in our thinking demonstrate love to our neighbor and in that way help him. In my position I come in daily contact with many people, and in dealing with them I have plenty of opportunity to apply Christian Science. If we hold stead-fastly to the thought that our neighbor, in his true being, is an idea of God, and therefore a reflection of divine Love, the error which would thrust itself upon our thought must give way, and we can shut out inharmony.

In physical difficulties Christian Science has been my physician. Colds, influenza, and fever have yielded to the truth. Once I was taken ill with a severe stomach trouble and could not retain any food. After trying for a week to overcome the error myself, I asked a practitioner for help. In a few days I was completely restored.
