With great gratitude for all the blessings which have been brought to me through Christian Science I feel I must give this testimony.

Twenty years ago I heard of Christian Science when I was seeking the truth about God and man. From childhood I had been brought up to have a strong faith in God, and I knew that God is my help. When a severe loss came to me through the war, I could not understand the soothing statement, "All that God does is well done." Therefore I looked about very earnestly and read much. Then a kind relative brought me the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Through the study of this book I was comforted and soon discovered that I had found what I had long sought. It contained the truth about God and man. I learned through studying the book to mold my own life.

My first healing through Christian Science was of grippe, inflammation of the lungs, and pleurisy. This healing took place within three days with the help of a practitioner, and was so convincing to me that I no longer used other means. Christian Science has helped me in every need which has arisen. Thirteen years ago I was healed of puerperal fever in one treatment. Then my eldest son was healed of exomphalos and inflammation. Subsequently I was healed in one treatment of prolapse.
