Sir Henry Coward, the famous composer and conductor, who celebrated his eighty-sixth birthday the other day, and who retired from "active service" only last year, attributes his longevity to a cheerful disposition and the fact that he does not worry. His birthday message is contained in a rhyme he learned as a boy. Here it is:
