I wish to acknowledge my gratitude for the wonderful healings I have had in Christian Science.

When I first heard of this Science about seventeen years ago, I was crippled with rheumatoid arthritis. I had been under the care of several local doctors and two in London, and had tried many material remedies without avail. I was put on a drastic diet and my legs were always wrapped in cotton wool. I turned to Christian Science, left off all material remedies, and gradually got better and stronger. It was very wonderful to be able to do all my housework again.

About two years ago I was stricken with erysipelas on my face and head. I asked a practitioner for help. In the darkest hours I felt God very near and seemed to hear, "Fear not: ... when thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee." Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 131), "When once destroyed by divine Science, the false evidence before the corporeal senses disappears." It was beautiful to see how the condition all disappeared through Christian Science treatment. Again we proved Truth to be the victor.
