From 1912 on I suffered very severely from neuralgia in my whole body, especially in my head, wrists, ankles, and arms, and very distressingly in my stomach. The attacks in my head lasted for as long as five weeks, and my physical condition was such that I was unable to do any work whatever and was obliged to keep to my bed the whole time. Besides this, I was often troubled with pyrosis. I did or had done for me everything suggested by the doctors, whom I consulted in my great distress, and by my friends. Thus I had more than two hundred injections, but all without the slightest permanent benefit. I also suffered very much from bleeding piles, which became so bad that an operation was planned. The steps for my admission to a hospital had already been taken.

Then I heard of Christian Science. As one who is drowning may grasp at a straw, I grasped at this divine Science. A practitioner gave me treatment immediately. From the first the attacks grew less frequent and less severe, and today, with a grateful heart, I can testify that years ago they entirely disappeared and I was healed. My healing has been permanent.
