It has long been my desire to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me.

About eight years ago I was taken seriously ill and, as a result, had to discontinue my business activities. The physician who was called, treated me for about a month and, finally, pronounced my condition a hopeless case of tuberculosis. It was then recommended to me that I try Christian Science. I readily agreed to consult a practitioner. As I was too ill to go to her home, the practitioner was asked to come to see me. She, however, said that she would give me a treatment that evening, and that she was sure I should be able to make the trip to see her on the following morning. I was able to drive to her home the next morning, but upon arriving there I was exhausted. After I had rested for a few minutes, the practitioner spoke to me about the power of God and gave me a treatment.

The healing was instantaneous, for the same afternoon I went to my office to attend to some urgent business. Five days thereafter I was able to take a two hundred and forty-six mile automobile trip and do all of the driving myself. In about five weeks I returned to the city and business, from which I have not missed a day since.
