That Christian Science heals, quickly and surely, I found three years ago when I broke my arm.

I had fallen with the weight of my body on my right arm, and the picture presented was not a pleasant one to look at. I covered up the arm immediately, so that the picture would not impress itself on me, and I did not show the arm to anyone. When the bone was being set it was found that the ligaments of the hand had been torn. The doctor considered the case a serious one, and, as he told me later, feared stiffness and the loss of use of the hand.

A Christian Science practitioner was telephoned to for help, which was at once given. There was no pain, and stiffness did not set in; and in a few hours I was able to move my fingers. In ten days I felt that everything was all right again; and when, at my earnest request, the bandages were removed a few days later, everyone saw a complete and splendid healing. Two days afterward I wrote with that hand to the practitioner, to thank him for his quick and effective help. It is possible for me to do anything I want to do with that arm and hand, without tiring, even to lifting heavy objects more easily and better than before, although everyone seemed to expect the opposite.
