Some years ago I suffered from extreme nervous depression, and in spite of all the material remedies tried, my condition became worse day by day. I had become incapable of taking care of my home and children, and so I went to an asylum, but my stay there did not bring about the desired results. At this critical juncture, a friend of my husband, several members of whose family had been healed by Christian Science, told him that I might also be healed by this same means. My husband had me leave the asylum, and the help of a practitioner was sought. Almost at once I felt relief. The complete healing took a while. With great patience the practitioner helped me to understand the teachings of Christian Science and I was able to resume a normal life.

Since then we have turned to the same practitioner in other matters. Among other things our little girl, in a fall from a fairly high tree, hurt one foot. Some time later we noticed that the foot was slightly deformed. This condition grew worse, and one day she could not put on her shoe. After two treatments by the practitioner the foot became normal.

I am grateful for the help which the practitioner has always given us so lovingly, and grateful too for all that Christian Science brings to humanity.
