I wish to express my gratitude to Christian Science by telling of the wonderful healings I have had.

The first of these took place when I was thirteen years of age. One Sunday afternoon I went to visit a friend, and the following Tuesday evening when I came home from school I felt sick. I had chills and a fever, accompanied by a sore throat. Through the help of my mother and my own work we soon conquered this trouble, and I went to school the next day, where I heard that my friend had diphtheria, which had spread through the neighborhood.

The second of my healings was during my eighth year of school. I fell over unconscious, a doctor was called, and the trouble was said to be epilepsy. I had three spells of this before a practitioner was called. For about six hours these spells came on every few minutes. After about four hours' treatment I fell asleep, to awaken completely healed.
