In your last issue, under the heading "Disease and Evil are Real," you quote from an address by a clergyman.

Why Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, should be referred to as "that peculiar American" is not easy to understand, except that she insisted that the teaching of Christ Jesus must be accepted in its entirety.

The fundamental teaching of Christian Science is one infinite God, good, a perfect universe, including man, and the unreality and consequent nothingness of all that does not measure up to the divine standard. This is in accord with the teaching of the Master; and it seems strange that its logical and demonstrable deduction should be challenged or adversely commented upon by an avowed follower of the Master.
