Tomorrow

In his article "The Two Worlds," as given in Tomorrow, February 5, a contributor speaks of the increasing number of men and women who are taking up the study of Christian Science. This recognition is gratifying. To accommodate the growing interest in Christian Science many edifices were built throughout the world last year. These buildings were not of a temporary nature, but in almost every case were of such architectural design and structural excellence as to be an asset to any locality. Such structures were not built upon "nonsense," as your contributor assumes, but appeared as results of the healing of multitudes, physically and morally, through Christian Science.

"Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy explains clearly and satisfactorily the points raised in the article. On page 318 Mrs. Eddy writes: "The material senses originate and support all that is material, untrue, selfish, or debased. They would put soul into soil, life into limbo, and doom all things to decay. We must silence this lie of material sense with the truth of spiritual sense. We must cause the error to cease that brought the belief of sin and death and would efface the pure sense of omnipotence."

That Mrs. Eddy's reasoning is logical is being proved daily in thousands of authenticated cases of healing, not only of sickness, but of every ill that "flesh is heir to." Jesus told his disciples, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing."
