In the Gospel of John, Christ Jesus has given us his definition of eternal life in these words: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." It therefore becomes our chief concern to gain a greater knowledge or understanding of God, of Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and of man as created in God's image and likeness.
