I am sincerely grateful for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for what her self-sacrificing life has brought to all humanity, her followers in particular; also for the Board of Directors of The Mother Church, who are carrying on our Leader's inspiration in varied activities, and for our literature, which has proved to be so helpful. Christian Science has been my only physician for over thirty years.

I am grateful for an instantaneous healing which our child had of a case of grippe, which had lingered for a number of days until she seemed so weak she could not raise her head from the pillow. A Christian Science practitioner came, and after she had worked for a short time the child arose, dressed, went downstairs, and played the piano. She never complained or thought of lying down after this healing.

Stubborn habitual headaches left me, and colds and burns were quickly overcome. Whenever fear tempted me, the words, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee," dispelled the illusion.
