Since I became a student of Christian Science many blessings have come to my family and to me. It is with the greatest sense of gratitude that I add my testimony of appreciation for the healing power of Christian Science and for Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this healing truth.

For years I had used most remedies known to medical science for neuritis and stomach trouble. I was finding it hard to move about with much freedom and could never move without pain. I was being doctored for both gallstones and ulcers of the stomach, and at one time spent two weeks in bed, eating only toast and milk. The attending physician suggested an operation, but as I had been the subject of two previous operations, I would not consent.

At this time a friend presented Christian Science to me. The next day I borrowed Science and Health and read diligently. The second day I attended church services and secured a Christian Science Quarterly. At this time I also wrote to a practitioner for absent treatment. During the following three weeks my ailments faded away gradually. I found myself eating anything I wanted, and I was free from the neuritis, which I had had since childhood. Serious eye trouble that had bothered me since the age of seven was also corrected.
