Because my heart is so full of gratitude to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I give this testimony. I was led to Christian Science in 1922, and can now truly say it is my greatest possession. I am grateful for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and for the realization of God's allness gained through their study, for all of the literature authorized by Mrs. Eddy, and for the Manual of The Mother Church.

I first asked help from a Christian Science practitioner for a business problem. I was told that it would be helpful to have a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, so I purchased one with my last three dollars. It has been the best investment I have ever made.

Some healings have been instantaneous, some slow. The latter have brought me a better understanding of God and His idea, man. Nine years ago I was healed of a very sore felon. Absent treatment was given by a practitioner. I was in extreme pain and great fear was expressed, as I was preparing to move in four days' time a distance of one hundred and sixty miles to the mountains. On the third day I asked for another treatment, and was told to try to know the nothingness of matter, and that it did not belong to me. I tried to be obedient and to realize this truth, and the next morning there was a complete healing.
