As your correspondent "Spectator" in a recent issue, under the heading of "Divine Healing," correctly implies, the ministry of healing did not cease with the apostles, and it may interest some of your readers to learn that the immortal words of Christ Jesus, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also," are indeed applicable to all ages and to all people and are being applied in our time, the world over, by Christian Scientists, who can testify that the healing Christ is present today to cast out evils just as surely as in the time those words were spoken.

Since the day, some sixty years ago, when Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, gave her discovery to the world in her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," divine healing has been taking place throughout the civilized world. In this great work of hers, writing of her discovery, she says in part (p. 109): "I knew the Principle of all harmonious Mindaction to be God, and that cures were produced in primitive Christian healing by holy, uplifting faith; but I must know the Science of this healing, and I won my way to absolute conclusions through divine revelation, reason, and demonstration." That these words are true, and that she was successful, countless thousands who have been healed of all manner of diseases, physical and moral, through the ministrations of Christian Science, can gratefully attest. They can also bear witness to the fact that in this discovery they have found a practical religion, one capable of solving all daily problems, one which can be lived and utilized every minute of the day.

Yes, indeed, the ministry of healing did not cease with the apostles!
