Christian Science has brought into our home much harmony and many great blessings for which I am so deeply grateful that I feel I should give this testimony, hoping it may help others who are seeking the truth.

A few years ago, the liberating power of God, divine Love, as explained in Science and Health was clearly demonstrated to me when, after being a slave to the false appetite for alcohol and tobacco for forty-five years, I has an instantaneous healing, for which words fail to express my gratitude.

About three years ago I was confronted with many seemingly insurmountable and difficult business problems which caused much worry and physical strain, and a subsequent severe attack of the then prevailing malarial epidemic. I was unable to move body or legs. I sought the help of a practitioner, and with the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly, read to me by my wife—I was quite unable to read myself—I was able in a few days to think correctly and realize that God is the only Mind; and by shutting out all erroneous thoughts and admitting nothing but the truth, I was completely healed in those few days. To my joy I found that I had also been healed of acute neuritis of twenty years' standing, also of asthma and chronic bronchial catarrh.
