The Joy of Knowing

Oh , the joy of knowing God is Love,
That He guides and protects His own;
That within His faithful, loving arms
We are safe from evil unknown!
Oh, the joy that comes at early dawn
As we wait the approaching day,
Where we may trustingly walk with Him In the presence of Love alway!

Oh, the joy of being at one with God,
Of living, seeing, and knowing;
No consciousness but the one of Love,
And gratitude for Love showing!
Oh, the joy that comes at the close of day,
Remembering we were true,
Obedient to His ever call, When clearly His voice we knew!

Oh, the joy of knowing only good,
When all subtle errors flee;
Since only the good, the pure, and true
Shall the child of promise see!
Oh, the peace that comes when we wake from dreams
In the kingdom of His dear Son;
That heavenly place prepared for those Whose work is faithfully done!
