The
admonition contained in Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus contains a valuable lesson for the student of Christian Science seeking to gain and retain a clear concept of his true selfhood, that is, of the real man.
As
one studies the life and works of Jesus, the master Metaphysician, and his dealings with his disciples, as found in the New Testament, it is interesting and inspiring to note what great patience he expressed in his tireless effort to make them understand the truth he taught.
From
the outset of his study of Christian Science, the student is impressed with the interrelation of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
Dear
God, we ask that we may love Thee for Thyself alone,For all the goodness and the beauty that are Thine; That we may know adoringly that Thou art Love supreme; The One serene, unchangeable, in power divine; The One most lovely, and the most to be desired by all.
Dear
Father-Mother God, I truly prayFor growth in love, with every passing day:A Christly love, considerate and kind,That helps me to forgive and love mankind;A love too broad to censure or condemn,Or think unkindly of my fellow men;A love whose light a lost sheep may behold,And find his way back to the Father's fold;A love so selfless I can clearly seeHow Thou wouldst have me serve humanity;A love so meek that I cannot denyThe fullness of The infinite supply; An understanding love, that I may feelThe gratitude that helps to bless and heal;A sister-brother love I would impartThat all may find a welcome in my heart;A love so pure I see Thee face to face,And know that all are safe in Thy embrace;A spiritual love, to know reality—Thy universe in perfect harmony.

Recently, under the auspices of the Manager of Committees on Publication for The Mother Church, a new series of radiocast programs on Christian Science was instituted.
At a time when I had suffered long from ill health, and when I had lost faith in material medicines, diet, and hygiene, my attention was called to Christian Science.
Oh
, the joy of knowing God is Love,That He guides and protects His own; That within His faithful, loving armsWe are safe from evil unknown!Oh, the joy that comes at early dawnAs we wait the approaching day,Where we may trustingly walk with Him In the presence of Love alway!
