Recently, under the auspices of the Manager of Committees on Publication for The Mother Church, a new series of radiocast programs on Christian Science was instituted. These programs are sent out by short wave from the World Wide Broadcasting Corporation, whose call letter is WIXAL.

All programs from this station are educational, not of an advertising nature. Some are given by college instructors or professors, and others by people of eminence in other walks of life. The new programs given by Christian Scientists, consisting of piano music and the reading of selections from the Bible and authorized Christian Science literature, are sent out every Sunday from 5.15 to 5.30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. These radiocasts should reach England late each Sunday evening and California about 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

As is well known by radio fans, a short-wave radiocast, conditions being favorable, can be picked up in all parts of the world through a short-wave receiver. It is said that more than a million people in the United States of America own short-wave receiving sets, and that a great many are in use in Europe.
