A Fitness for Blessings

As one studies the life and works of Jesus, the master Metaphysician, and his dealings with his disciples, as found in the New Testament, it is interesting and inspiring to note what great patience he expressed in his tireless effort to make them understand the truth he taught. He knew that only through this spiritual understanding would they be fitted for their work with humanity. In no instance where they proved faithful did they fail to receive their reward—the blessing and benediction for work well done.

We are all his disciples. We have that same tender guidance today, and in addition we are blessed in the life and works of our inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whom God fitted to be the revelator of Truth in this age. In her effort to show us the way out of materiality, sin, and suffering she expressed the same great patience and tender love that Christ Jesus manifested.
