Greater Love

Dear Father-Mother God, I truly pray
For growth in love, with every passing day:
A Christly love, considerate and kind,
That helps me to forgive and love mankind;
A love too broad to censure or condemn,
Or think unkindly of my fellow men;
A love whose light a lost sheep may behold,
And find his way back to the Father's fold;
A love so selfless I can clearly see
How Thou wouldst have me serve humanity;
A love so meek that I cannot deny
The fullness of The infinite supply;
An understanding love, that I may feel
The gratitude that helps to bless and heal;
A sister-brother love I would impart
That all may find a welcome in my heart;
A love so pure I see Thee face to face,
And know that all are safe in Thy embrace;
A spiritual love, to know reality—
Thy universe in perfect harmony. No greater blessing would I ask of Thee!
