I want to express my gratitude for the fact that Christian Science has been made available to me and to the world.

I have had healings of a number of discordant conditions, the most notable one being the disappearance of an eye trouble which had caused me to wear glasses for almost twenty years, when reading or driving. After receiving help on this problem for a few weeks, I made an automobile trip to Oklahoma. My glasses were in my pocket, but I never felt the need of them and have never used them since.

Before I became interested in Christian Science, we had the misfortune to lose our only daughter. Another daughter was born two years later. Due to our experience, any evidence of illness affecting our child caused an unreasoning terror in my thought even if the trouble was trivial. Early in my experience with Christian Science this condition was explained to a practitioner, and with her help it became possible to face such situations with calmness, certain that our daughter was God's child and was safe in His care.
