I thank God that through kind friends He has shown me the way to Christian Science, through which I have already received so many blessings.

For a long time I had suffered from dizzy spells, which were accompanied by disagreeable manifestations. This error presented itself again so severely one Wednesday evening, when I was on my way to our Christian Science testimony meeting, that I could not continue. A friend who was with me took me to a quiet place. I could just cling to the thought that I was surrounded by divine Love, and that no error could creep into His kingdom or hinder me from attending the Wednesday evening meeting. In a little while I had so far recovered that I could continue on my way by myself and take part in the meeting.

A fear of the repetition of such incidents was, however, still with me. So I asked for Christian Science treatment, which was then given me. I was lovingly led along the way of right thinking. After a short time I was completely healed of these dizzy spells. At the same time I was freed of melancholy, from which I had previously suffered a good deal. Soon after that I suddenly discovered, one evening while reading, that I was not wearing the glasses which I had had to use for two years. I had forgotten to put them on and still could read well. And so it has remained; I have not needed to use them from that moment.
