Christian Science came into my home about thirty years ago. Since that time I have seen many wonderful healings take place and have been a witness to the marvelous power and protection afforded by the study and application of its teachings.

When I was a boy, my mother was raised from a bed of sickness. I was healed of chronic bronchitis in an alarming form. Both of these cures have been permanent; and in gratitude to our beloved Leader, to The Christian Science Board of Directors, the lecturers, practitioners, and loyal workers in this ever-growing Cause, I give this testimony.

Two instances proved the protecting power of divine Mind, not only to me, but to those who, though not Christian Scientists, were also spared what might have been fatal consequences. One night while I was riding with a companion in a light truck, we were struck by another car with great force. I endeavored to realize that there were no accidents in the realm of the real. Though the two machines were badly smashed, no one in either of them was hurt. Another time, while I was riding in a large open car with five other members of an orchestra, the machine slid on a corner banked with loose gravel and turned completely over. It stopped with its wheels in the air. No one was seriously hurt, and we were enabled to right the car, heavy as it was, and safely continue our journey.
