When Christian Science was presented to me about twenty-two years ago, I thought I would study it for the sake of a member of my family. After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for a very short time, I found that I could apply this teaching to every problem which came into my own experience to be solved, and I continued to study the book. During this period, when I have earnestly relied on Christian Science, there has never been a time that it has failed me.

Physical healings have been numerous, such as of a broken spine, so diagnosed by several physicians, which had caused much suffering from early childhood. Hereditary consumption and hemorrhages of the lungs have been completely healed through the help of a practitioner. The effects of a very severe accident were overcome. I was thought to be passing on, but through the work of the practitioner I recovered and was able to return to business in a few days. I am grateful that to a large extent extreme sensitiveness has been overcome.

Some time ago, when compelled to look for a home, I turned to the Bible for help, and in Exodus I found this statement: "Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared." Then, through an advertisement in The Christian Science Monitor, I was led to a home where harmony, peace, love, and kindness were shown by all, and much good and happiness unfolded.

I am very grateful for The Mother Church and its Board of Directors, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, through whose teaching the Bible has become understandable to me. I am also grateful for the privilege of being a teacher in the Sunday school of a branch church of which I am a member, and for class instruction. Christian Science is the greatest blessing that has ever been given to men, and is truly the "pearl of great price."
