Companionship

Although convinced that Christian Science is the truth, some are deterred from taking up its study by the fear that complete surrender of customary pursuits and cherished associations will be required of them. Yet the coming of the Christ was heralded by the angelic message, "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people." Christian Science is a religion of strengthening, satisfying replacement.

To a student giving much prayerful thought to the question of suitable companionship, the following words of a familiar hymn presented themselves for consideration:
