"O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." When Christian Science was first presented to me, about twenty years ago, I knew it was something I had been searching for all my life, and I wish to express my sincere gratitude for this wonderful truth. About two years later, at the birth of a child, two physicians gave me up to die, and said they could do no more for me. Then Christian Science treatment was asked for from a faithful practitioner, and from that hour I steadily began to regain my strength, day by day, and was healed.

Since then I have had many trials, but through the study of this wonderful truth I have been helped over all my difficulties and have been enabled to endure conditions which, had it not been for Christian Science, would have been unendurable. I have been wonderfully sustained and protected the past few years. At times I have had to ask for help from practitioners, but have worked out many problems through my own understanding. I was also healed of heart trouble, when resentment toward a certain member of the family was overcome. I have been lifted out of sorrow by knowing that Life is God, and in Him we live, move, and have our being, now and throughout all time. I am grateful for all the activities of the Christian Science movement.
