Over three years ago I was told by a physician to try traveling, as it might relieve me of a nervous breakdown. I took an ocean voyage from the East to California, and remained there, but with no evidence of being helped. One Wednesday evening a friend invited me to attend a Christian Science testimony meeting. I accepted the invitation with a feeling that I did not like the thought of going; but I heard some impressive testimonies, and after the meeting concluded that I had come in touch with what I was actually looking for in the way of healing.

In addition to my nervous condition I had been taking medicine for indigestion. I began to look into Christian Science and gave up medicine altogether, and am pleased to say that I was completely healed of the nervous breakdown. Very soon I was also healed of indigestion, dizziness, and other conditions of ill health, as well as of a great feeling of fear regarding many things.

I had been a habitual smoker for a long time, and one evening during my study it came to me that I was ready to give up this unprofitable habit. I did so, and have had no further desire to smoke. I have also received much help in my everyday business affairs, and feel that I am a better man in all ways.
