I should like to testify to a healing which I experienced through Christian Science, since it was brought to me by a very dear friend about five years ago. At this time I was suffering from what the doctor called liver trouble, for which he said I should have to undergo an operation. I read a Christian Science Sentinel, and as it referred to the Christian Science textbook, I got one from the library. I had read no farther than the chapter on Prayer when I found that I was much better. I then thought it best to see a practitioner, and after she kindly told me that God is all-loving and always willing to help us when we turn to Him, I was soon healed of my troubles.

It was then decided that this was the religion for my little daughter. I am very grateful for the Sunday school teachers, for they are a great help to the children. My little girl has had many healings, such as of measles and whooping cough, also of a bronchial trouble which she had had from babyhood; this would start as soon as the east wind came in the fall and would stay with her all winter. She would almost choke at times. We had help from a practitioner for this, and that winter she was not absent from school a day during all the cold weather. We clung persistently to the truth, and the trouble never returned.

I am very grateful for these many blessings, also for the protection we have had in several automobile accidents. I try to express my gratitude by kind thoughts and deeds.
