"Brave Britain, blest America!
Unite your battle-plan;
Victorious, all who live it,—
The love for God and man,"

wrote Mary Baker Eddy in her poem "The United States to Great Britain" (Poems, p. 11). Whether or not Mr. Sisley Huddleston, European Editorial Correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor, has in thought this appeal of the Founder of Christian Science, he is urging in his lectures to enthusiastic audiences in America that Great Britain and the United States shall unite now in a battle-plan for peace, namely, that they make at once a joint declaration that in the event of war they will refuse to furnish the belligerents with supplies of any kind. A good battle-plan this!
