My first physical healing was of a severe fracture of my left wrist. This healing was complete in two weeks without any loss of time from work. Later a severe case of typhoid fever was completely healed, and I returned to work on the second morning, after telephoning a Christian Science practitioner for help.

Christian Science was my protection in the army during the world war, both in America and in France. Five years ago it was necessary for me to go home from work one Friday afternoon, due to an attack of influenza. I immediately asked a practitioner for help, with the result that I returned to work the following Monday morning, not only healed of the influenza, but also healed of the smoking habit of about twenty years' standing. For these and many other blessings received through the study and application of Christian Science I am truly grateful.
