I wish to express my gratitude for the healings, mental and physical, that have come to me since I began the study of Christian Science over three years ago. Through the operation of divine Mind I have been healed of a physical condition which persisted for fifteen years. I had suffered periodically, many times having a doctor present, and always having various kinds of medicine conveniently close, as I spent from one to three days in bed. The doctors had said that only an operation would help, but I was afraid to have an operation; in fact I was in a very fearful state—fear of the future, fear for my reason, and a very nervous condition were manifested. To please a member of my family I turned to Christian Science just to give it a trial, for I doubted its healing power. But I have found that it does heal when properly applied. Analysis of the words, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind," is helping me to overcome fear.

Especially am I grateful to the practitioner who has helped me, for her patience, understanding, and application of this great truth. I have also been healed of the need of glasses after wearing them for about fifteen years. I put them aside in less than a month after I began this study.

Over a year ago I fell with great force, running rusty nails into each palm. With the help of a practitioner I resumed my work in less than fifteen minutes. Two or three days later I was driving my car on a trip of one hundred and fifty miles, my hands entirely healed. I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church, also in a branch church.
