The testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals...
The testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals have meant so very much to me that it has recently been borne in upon me that I was not bringing "all the tithes into the storehouse," if I did not add my words of praise and thanksgiving to those constantly appearing in them.
Brought up in a devout Christian home where theological beliefs were discussed frequently, I approached Christian Science with a deep-rooted prejudice against what I thought it to be. This was not conducive to quick healing. I had to thrash out for myself every question as it arose in my thought; and the relief from physical weakness and disease seemed to come very slowly. But the growing understanding of the allness of God and His law, and the nothingness of every other claim of power, has supported me in seemingly heavy trials, and healed me of much that was not good. I have experienced complete healing of constipation, and of violent sick headaches, which had persisted from early childhood; and from a condition of invalidism I have been strengthened so that I have been able to care for a family, and later conduct a most exacting business.
I am very grateful for all the loving-kindness received from practitioners and friends in Christian Science; for the uplifting experience of class instruction, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Also I wish to express gratitude for the life and consecrated labor of our beloved Leader, which bore such rich fruitage in the healing and salvation of mankind.
