God has not created men to live in misery or disaster or failure or to end in destruction. ... Your life can be full of love and sunshine and everything that the pure heart can desire. But these beautiful things cannot be yours without effort on your part. You must go about putting away from you and out of your life the things that have brought you suffering and unhappiness. If you do not know what these are, or have not the strength of will to turn from them, where are this knowledge and strength to be found? There is only one source of all knowledge, wisdom, and power, and that is God, the Father.
