It is with deep gratitude and thanksgiving to God for His love and compassion toward all mankind; for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, that this testimony of the efficacy of the healing and protective power of Christian Science is given. This power is being proved daily—yes, hourly—in our immediate family. There have been healings of many difficulties, among which were lacerated ligaments, sprained ankle, tumors, the wearing of glasses for astigmatism, headaches, and obnoxious characteristics. Many other discordant conditions have been replaced by God's law of harmony.

We have learned through Christian Science that God is divine Mind, Truth, and that all unspiritual thinking is false, is suggestion or supposition, and not real thought. There is always something to be joyous about; no matter what the seeming discord may be, we can always rejoice that it is not true because not of God, and therefore not real. We must know the truth expressed in Mrs. Eddy's words (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 277), "No evidence before the material senses can close my eyes to the scientific proof that God, good, is supreme."

I am grateful for the Bible; for all of our Leader's writings; for the Christian Science periodicals; for the Christian Science lecturers; for class instruction; for membership in The Mother Church and for all of its activities.
