The Lectures
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN(First Church).
Lecturer: Algernon Hervey Bathurst; introduced by Miss Aimee Lundgren, who said:—
Were Christian Science merely a new theory, there would indeed be no excuse for thrusting it upon an overburdened world, sick and tired of barren theories; but, having proved its practically, we have not found it wanting. "He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death." During many years I have both experienced and witnessed the healing power of this teaching, whether applied to physical, mental, moral, or financial distress. Under my personal observation have come cases of healing through Christian Science of diseases which had been pronounced incurable after fruitless attempts by both material and so-called mental curative methods.
