"All nature teaches God's love to man."—Science and Health with
Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 326.

Be humble!
For see, the springing grass doth gladly give
Cool comfort to all weary journeying feet.
Be brave!
The tall tree stands courageously
Facing the winter's chastisement
To give us summer shade.
Pray for compassion!
The bird soaring high into the heaven
Flingeth a ladder from the trackless blue
Wrought of pure sound and silver exultation,
That we, earth-bound and heavy-laden here below,
May climb above delusions of the dust.
Have trust!
E'en as the earliest questing snow flower blooms
Undaunted by the bitterness and cold.
And love!
For now, in this the loveliest time of spring,
We glimpse the mother-love of God expressed
In everything.
