Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Continued progress is apparent in the attitude of the newspapers of the Transvaal towards Christian Science.

In June Die Volkstem—an Afrikaans daily paper published in Pretoria—printed three articles against Mrs. Eddy and Christian Science. These were attacks and misrepresentations by one who derived most of his information from a misleading book. It is gratifying to know that two articles written by your Committee in reply were accepted and published not only in the daily issue, but also in the biweekly edition.

Apart from these three articles in Die Volkstem there has been no attack against our Leader and Christian Science in the daily press of the Transvaal.
