I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science and to the many friends and practitioners who have helped me to gain a better understanding of God. In April, 1919, after a thorough physical examination by five medical doctors, I was told that I was suffering from nervousness and kidney trouble and that I could live only a short time. I was healed in Christian Science, and later passed a physical examination for a life insurance policy.
In my home I have seen influenza, indigestion, constipation, eczema, pleurisy, weak arches, throat trouble, and many other discordant conditions healed through the application of Christian Science. I am increasingly grateful for the life of our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for the privilege of serving as usher, and for class instruction.
Dr. John Wesley Williams, Chicago, Illinois.
