With a heart filled with gladness, I wish to relate my healing through Christian Science. For years I suffered from heart, stomach, and liver trouble. My condition became so aggravated that I was confined to my bed for three months. Homeopathic remedies at first brought relief, but finally medical remedies failed altogether. The pain became so severe that my suffering was unbearable.

"Man's extremity is God's opportunity"! In March, 1931, an acquaintance drew my attention to Christian Science. I had never heard of this teaching before and could not bring myself to ask for treatment, for I was a loyal adherent of the State Church. This friend brought me the textbook by Mrs. Eddy, and I began to read it. Gaining confidence, I sent for a practitioner, who helped me lovingly. After the first treatment I was able to sit on the edge of my bed, and in the evening I had supper with the family. I was healed! On the third day I went for a walk.

For this wonderful, rapid healing I am grateful to God; to our revered Leader for her glorious teaching; and to the practitioner for her loving assistance.
