I am very grateful to Christian Science for all it has...
I am very grateful to Christian Science for all it has done and is doing for me. I had suffered much with heart trouble, and about three years ago three doctors said that I could not possibly recover. I felt quite hopeless and very unhappy. At that time I went to stay with some relatives who are Christian Scientists, and they suggested that I should see a Christian Science practitioner. This I did, and after two treatments found I could lie on my left side, something I had not been able to do for more than a year. After about a month's further treatment I was perfectly well, and my gratitude to Christian Science was very deep; but I do not think I realized how completely I was healed until later, when I saw the doctor who had attended me for three years. When I told him I was perfectly well, he said, "You certainly look it." He asked me if I would let him examine me, which I did, and after a very careful examination he said, "It's a miracle; you are perfectly well!"
I have been healed of a sense of impatience and bad temper, for which healing I am very thankful. I am also thankful for healings of many minor difficulties in everyday life, which have all proved to me the power and ever loving care of God. I can never say how grateful I am to God, to Mrs. Eddy, to the relatives who told me of this wonderful truth, and to the practitioners who so kindly and patiently helped me.
