I have been helped so many times by reading the testimonies of healing that I hope others may be encouraged in the same way by my telling of a few of the blessings which Christian Science has brought to us in the rearing of our children.

Many diseases—whooping cough, measles, scarlatina, diphtheria—have been quickly healed with the help of a loving practitioner. Our gratitude for a recent experience is without bounds. One Sunday I became suddenly ill with an attack of heart trouble. I did not immediately call for help, but tried to work for myself as we are taught in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and I was helped through the first attack in the afternoon; but later on toward night the pain became more severe, and on going to bed I found that I could not lie down, and quickly grew worse. Our daughter telephoned a practitioner, and help was instantaneous; complete healing followed in four days.

I am indeed grateful for membership in The Mother Church; for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school; for having been a Reader to a group of sincere students; for all the literature; and last, but not least, for class instruction with a loyal teacher.—(Mrs.) Ada Harris, Alpine, Texas.
