I know that Mary Baker Eddy was God-inspired, and that her discovery, Christian Science, is the Comforter, promised by Christ Jesus. I wondered why healing was not done today as it was by the Master and his early followers, and was given the customary answer—that it was for that particular time only. Later I was led to attend a Christian Science service. Such an atmosphere of love greeted me that I left much refreshed. As I become more conversant with the truth, many changes are taking place: unlovely and unloving traits of character are being replaced by the real and true, and I am realizing more happiness and a sense of freedom from care.

I am sincerely grateful for all the loving work of consecrated practitioners. Many healings have been experienced, of burns, poison, injuries resulting from a fall, a dislocated ankle, colds, inflammation of a bone, arch trouble, heart trouble, and lack of supply.

For some time my eyes had bothered me, but owing to my dislike of glasses nothing was done and the condition became worse. I eagerly continued my study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and other writings by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and one day I found that I could see perfectly.
