The attendance at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church has of late years required additional seating capacity to that of The Mother Church main auditorium, and therefore the original Mother Church auditorium has been used, being connected with the main auditorium by a public address system. This has enabled those who attended in the original church to hear perfectly the speakers and to participate in the singing of the hymns.

On Sundays, the original Mother Church is used for Sunday school sessions—one being held in the auditorium and one in the vestry beneath. Two additional sessions of the Sunday school are held simultaneously in the Extension. The original church auditorium is not, therefore, available for an overflow on the Sunday before the Annual Meeting. Last year, however, on that day a loud speaker was installed in the foyer, and the service was listened to there by many who could not obtain seats in the auditorium.

On the Wednesday following the Annual Meeting, during the past two years, an overflow Wednesday evening meeting has been held in the original church auditorium, which seats approximately twelve hundred. The Second Reader of The Mother Church has presided; and during the first part of the services, the hymns, the Lord's Prayer, and the reading of selections from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy have been reproduced through amplifiers connected with the main auditorium. Testimonies have followed from speakers in both auditoriums. The same arrangements will be made for this year.
